Worth the wait....

The reasons why I love you can't be counted. It would be like trying to count the stars.
The way that you make me feel cannot be matched by anyone in this world.
God did an awesome job bringing us together - He had our union planned all along.
If there is one thing I can say it is you were worth the wait!

Even though we knew one another growing up, it took us longer to find one another.
But when we did, it has been amazing watching God work out the little pieces.
You and I are meant to be together, meant to do great things for Him.
All I know is, you were definitely worth the wait.

We still have a few days until we unite together with God before our friends and family,
But that does not change the fact that we will, no matter what obstacles we have to overcome.
In Psalm 73:23-24 God tells us He will never leave us,
Which tells me that He was with us on our wait.

There is no man who can separate us from one another or come between this bond,
We will be forever united as a cord of 3 strands with God (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
The love that we have for one another cannot be explained with the human brain,
Because God was showing us that we were worth the wait.

So as our wedding day draws closer and we put the final touches on our plans,
Know that God is with us, He is helping us, guiding us and the center of everything.
No matter what life brings our way, we will overcome with God, Just like He brought us through the times before we were us, so we would remember that we were worth the wait.
